Lexington County Peach Festival on July 4th

It’s that time of year again… the 4th of July! Patriotism is everywhere, and fireworks are lighting up the sky. Fireworks aren’t the only way to celebrate Independence Day in Lexington. This year, we at Dick Dyer Volvo suggest you check out the Lexington County Peach Festival.

The Lexington County Peach Festival is just what is sounds like–a celebration of peaches! It will take place all day on July 4th, from 9am to 11pm at Gilbert Community Park. This festival is chock full of family fun. Got a great recipe involving peaches in your family cookbook? Participate in the Peach Recipe Contest, the first event that kicks off the day.

Bring the whole family to the fun Peach Parade, starting on Hampton Street at 9:30am. Love cars? Perfect! An antique car show will be running until 2pm in Gilbert Middle School.

There’s tons to do at the Peach Festival for everybody. And don’t worry, at the end of the day, you can celebrate the 4th of July how you love to–with fireworks! The Peach Festival’s fireworks begin at 10 pm, and it’s a spectacular show.

Why not celebrate on July 4th in new and old ways? Check out the Lexington County Peach Festival this year.
